
The Victorian Government Pavilion at the Royal Melbourne Show needed a refresh to deliver a more engaging experience for its visitors.
GSG approached the challenge in a completely new way by developing a central theme for the pavilion that united the individual exhibitors for a seamless experience that was not only informative, but fun.
We designed the umbrella theme "Fast Forward" that celebrated the positive initiatives the Victorian Government has in place today for our future. Graphic symbols were designed for areas within the pavilion that followed the theme with a "Play" area for kids to learn and create, "Pause" area for visitors to take a break while experiencing expert talks and demonstrations, and "Rewind" to check out Victoria's cultural heritage.
Interactive technology, daily entertainment, special guests, workshops, and games for kids ensured there was something for the whole family.
Visitors, exhibitors and organisers agreed, that the 2009 Government pavilion at The Show was a success and benchmark for years to come.
